Win a Photojojo Prize by posting your best photo featuring rainbowey goodness! Bad news: July is almost over, so the daily Pic Pick contests brought to you by Photojojo and Tumblr are coming to an end. Good news: 3 more days to play and win!!! Including the theme for today’s contest, which I will be judging: ROYGBIV. I’m extremely excited for this one because as you can see, I’m super psyched about spectrum (just take a look at my apartment!). To play:• post your red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet to your tumblr blog and tag it “pic pick”• if you are chosen as the winner, you’ll receive a prize from the photojojo store as well as have your photo placed on the tumblr sidebar for all to see and admire!• but come on, this is a photo contest, not a google image search contest. the image you post must be something that you, yourself created!• a description, story, or caption helps to give the image context, makes it more interesting, and helps determine that the photo is actually yours.• there are lots and lots and lotsa entries, so keep in mind that if you post more than one, you’ll probably annoy the judge into ignoring your many entries. • just because something is “colorful”, does not necessarily make it “roygbiv”, same way that a double exposure is not the same as a diptych.  I will be judging entries based largely on originality, general awesomeness, and uniquely imaginative interpretations of the theme. I’m a sucker for objects arranged in rainbow order but in my time have seen a lot of cakes, bookshelves, and colored pencils, so be original and stand out from the crowd!
