fun times behind the scenes in the studio today with lighting mad scientist and still life mastermind steve cohen. i was invited to help art direct (not that he needs it!) a series based on “emerging from suspended animation”. melissa, the model, was an amazingly good sport for letting us totally slime her and put clear goop all over her face. she couldn’t move or speak, but was able to grunt and squeak for us to swipe the stuff out of her nostrils every so often so she could breathe.
