i heart you, washingtonpoststyle, but why are all the large (and let’s face it, kinda corporatey) tumblrs with a gazillion followers and absurdly wide reach always the ones showing up in my dashboard every tuesday begging for votes? we should all be working on promoting the little guys who deserve more attention. 

today i voted for the kontraptionist blog, by a guy in brooklyn who makes fantastically rad stuff with a robot that he BUILT HIMSELF.
